Everybody knows apple and everybody should have ever ate apple, even for some people apple is their favorite fruit. But, do they know that this fresh, acid, and sweet fruit gives them great health advantage? Apparently, this fruits have known to give advantageous for human body since hundreds of years ago. Not only for diet, apple is believed to be able to prolong human age.

When you take a look at its shape, you can see apple’s beautiful shape that is way it is popular as sexy fruit. The colors are pulling attention of whoever sees it since it has bold red, orange, green, and yellow color. Once you tasted it, the aftertaste leaves the fresh, watery, acid, and sweet feeling in your tongue.

Speaking of its effectiveness to prolong human age, apple had been an object of analysis as conducted by colleagues from Chinese University of Hong Kong. They obtained result from the experiment that consuming one apple every day will prolong your age since apple contains of generous antioxidant that gives 10 percent longer life.

Each 100 grams of apple contains of 58 kcal energy, 4 grams fat, 3 grams protein, 900 IU vitamin, 14,9 carbohydrate, 7 mg thiamin, 3 mg riboflavin, 5 mg vitamin C, 2 mg niacin, 0,04 mg vitamin B1, 0,04 mg vitamin B2, 6 mg calcium, 3 mg iron, 130 mg potassium, and 10 mg phosphor.  

Meanwhile, the study of Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry stated that it is suggested for women to consume one apple as fruit salad into their menu to reduce the risk of getting heart attack for about 13 to 22 percent.

Another research conducted analyzed the effectiveness of apple’s antioxidant and the research involved flies as the object of the study resulted in evidence that apple can prolong age. The research also involved other animals to prove apple’s effectiveness through tests.

Apparently, the antioxidant and polyphenol contained in apple is not only prolonging flies’ age but also helping them to maintain their ability to walk, climb, and moves. According to Zhen-Yu Chen from Chinese University of Hong Kong, the damaged substances inside the body or commonly called as free radical may cause significant changes to human body, such as early aging and some illnesses. Thus, high antioxidant in apple can prevent them.

More importantly, apple has quercetin which maintains the power of brain nerve. You can consume more red apples that have more antioxidant than green or yellow ones. This will be a good step to have perfect health by consuming apple one every day.
