Even though water spinach is merely tasteless for some people, you can cook it in different way to change the flavor that makes people want some more. Let’s see the new but simple recipe called Thai Crispy Sauce Water Spinach.
The way to serve water spinach is pretty simple. Cut water spinach stem and leave only the leaves. Dip the leaves into flour and deep fry them quickly. Afterward serve the deep fry water spinach with Thai spicy and sour sauce. When you put it into your mouth you can feel the ultra-crispy water spinach. It’s more like a tradition that Bogor is always becomes one favorite place for Jakarta local citizen to visit, especially on holiday. People find Bogor is much closer from Jakarta, besides it has many culinary places they can go to. One of local favorite food worth to try is the famous Gepuk Karuhun.
Previously, Gepuk Karuhun was one of traditional foods particular banquette must acquired or it was special snack for particular social group of Sunda people. Today, Gepuk Karuhun has become a delicious and tender food you can consume anytime whether at lunch or dinner.
Gepuk, or it is often called empal, is made from beef that is so traditional. It is originally from Sunda and the name Gepuk has its own reason. Sunda people named it Gepuk reasoning on the way this food is being made. When you cook this food, you should beat the beef until it is tender. The tenderness depends on your desire.
After the beef is tender, it should be boiled together with the needed seasoning until it is absorbed into the beef. Afterward, the cooked beef is dry fried whenever you want to serve it. It will be more appetizing if you spread the fried onion and scraped coconut on the serving. These additions will make Gepuk Karuhun tastes sweeter and more delicious.

If you are interested to taste the foods served, there is a range of foods to choose from, for example the galah shrimp which is rich of flavors is really crispy in your mouth. Once you taste it, the strong taste of onion and turmeric are unavoidable. This food is served with sweet chili sauce for greater aftertaste sensation.
The setting of this traditional seafood stall is simple. All tables are covered in bright-red color that is suited with chairs in the same color. Besides the galah shrimp menu above, more servings offer greater flavors like particular cooking of fish, shrimp, shells, squids, and obviously crabs. The kind of fishes used in the cooking are special as well, those are baronang, kuwe, and bawal.

One of the famous traditional cooking from Malaysia is Penang Prawn Mee which is so mouthwatering for it is so tasty or delicious. The aroma is so inviting that you may not able to refuse. This aroma comes from the shrimp broth with reddish in color and if you stir your spoon you will find tender noodle, boiled eggs, shredded chicken meat, and of course shrimp.
Penang Prawn Mee is served in a very special way, the cooking is poured into white tureen with fried onion spread on top. According to the original name in Malaysia, this cooking is known as Prawn Hokkien Mee or “Mee Udang”. Compared to laksa, Penang Prawn Mee is not cooked or mixed with coconut milk. The noodles cooked together with the shrimp broth are thin rice noodles which tasted tenderly and softly.

Originally, beef rendang is traditional recipe from Minagkabau, an ethnic group in Indonesia. The recipe is made as one of ways to honor guests at ceremonial occasions. The great thing about beef rendang is the way it is cooked. You will surely need hours to cook delicious and perfect-tasted beef rendang. To have this excellent flavorful cook, you might need to spend about 3 hours.
Truly, beef rendang is a recipe that is rich of taste and it tastes like tender coconut beef stew. The combination of aromatic ingredients and delicious beef make this beef rendang becomes so mouthwatering.
