Spending your holiday with the family is precious moment you should really enjoy. If you decide not to spend days on trip or vacation, you actually can make a great plan at home and bring happiness from your kitchen. So, how to have a good time with your family in your kitchen? It is easy, just cook the new recipe and serve your family new taste.

Among many recipes, you can find many mouthwatering to try but sometimes most of them are just the common recipes you may have ever tried to cook before, so to try something new seems challenging. Therefore, why don’t you serve the new recipe for your family and have them praise you for the brilliant idea of yours to make the holiday even pleasing.

Straight to the business, here is one new recipe of cake you can try. The specialty of this cake is that you can use vegetable oil instead of butter. This new recipe is Pandan Leaf Cake without Butter. It seems different from other recipes, so you should give it a try. The ingredients are easy to found and cooking methods are quite easy.

Well, here are the main ingredients:

  • 175 gr Wheat
  • 175 Refined sugar (granulated sugar can be another alternative)
  • 6 Eggs
  • 50 cc Vegetables oil
  • 1 tsp Pandan essence
  • 100 cc Coconut milk
  • 1 tbs Milk powder
  • ½ tsp Baking powder

After all ingredients are ready, then you can start cooking it.

  • Mix together wheat, milk powder, and baking powder. Sieve the mixture and keep aside.
  • Pour vegetable oil and blend it with leaf essence, stir and keep aside.
  • Beat the eggs together with sugar until it is developed and pale-look color using mixer set in high speed. Reduce the speed after the dough is swelled and put the mixture of wheat, milk powder, and baking powder into the dough little by little. Keep stirring.
  • Pour the coconut milk bit by bit and then pour the mixture of vegetable oil and pandan leaf into it.
  • Prepare the baking pan which already basted with butter and sowed with little wheat, or you can go for vegetable oil to baste the baking pan.
  • Pour the dough into the baking pan and bake into oven with 150 degree Celsius of temperature for about 45 minutes.

Serve the cake warmly and taste it while you and the family enjoy spending the evening. A cup of warm tea can be a good company.
